I don’t know about you but I am ready for Covid to be gone and the election to be over. In fact, I think I am ready for 2020 to end put all the the craziness behind us and start over in 2021. To add to the frustration, the Orange Tour has now been cancelled.

This year has been so weird. The Great Quarantine. Cancelled events. Virtual School. Zoom Meetings. Online church. Mask Mandates. And the list goes on.

Those in ministry were hit pretty hard this year. Not being able to meet in person, many scrambling to create a virtual experience not only for adults, but kids and youth as well. That’s no small undertaking, but to use a very 2020 term, most were able to ‘pivot’ well and adapt ministry.

Orange is no different. The Orange Conference 2020 went virtual back in May, and while I wish we could have met in person, the Virtual Orange Conference was great.

I would have never dreamed that back in May we would still be seeing changes from Live Events to virtual. As much as I wish we could attend the Orange Tour in person, our friends at Orange recently made the announcement that the Tour was cancelled this fall.

But don’t worry. They are instead putting together a great Virtual Experience for us.

This fall you will want to check out the Kids Ministry Exchange and Youth Ministry Exchange.

This Fall, Orange is putting together a great lineup of guest speakers to speak to you where you are. This year of ministry has been nothing like ministry of our past. We have nowhere to turn to but each other for ideas and support. This virtual event is tailored to you where you are right now. In the middle of a pandemic. Whether you are meeting virtually, meeting in person, or both, the speakers we will hear from will help based on what is going around us right now. It is not a ‘prepackaged’ event with the same breakouts we have all heard before.

With a balance of “main stage speakers”, virtual round table discussions, breakouts, and even a virtual exhibit hall, this event is for you.

Do you:

• need some new ideas?
• need some moral support and encouragement?
• some time to refresh and renew?

Check out Kids Minstry Exchange (Or Youth Ministry Exchange). We may not have the Orange Tour this year, but that doesn’t mean we need to miss out on the great learning opportunity.
