Prayer PACT : a 30 day prayer journal for kids

prayer journal for kids

The idea of Prayer Pact was born several years ago when I spoke at a pre-teen camp. As I was writing the lessons, I knew prayer would be one of the topics covered.

Through the Prayer Pact lesson, the kids learned what it meant to pray. Often prayer is misunderstood or misrepresented. Many think prayer is asking God for stuff. It is true that this is one aspect of prayer there is so much more.

If you are interested in helping your kids learn about prayer in a way that will help them develop good prayer habits, Prayer Pact a 30 day prayer journal for kids is for you.

Prayer Pact a 30 day prayer journal for kids

Want to help your kids develop a consistant prayer time? Prayer Pact can help!

A tool to teach your kids about prayer

Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated.  Through the Prayer Pact, kids will keep a prayer journal and explore what prayer is, when to pray, and keep track of their prayers for a month. There is even a place to record answered prayers.  This will be a great help as they begin to form and build their spiritual foundation.

As they learn about prayer, kids will explore the prayers of Daniel, Elijah, and Samuel. Every day they will read a verse about prayer, then as part of their prayer journal record their Prayer Pact:

  • Praise
  • Ask
  • Confess
  • Thanksgiving

There is even a place to record answered prayers.

By the time they are done, they will be well on their way to creating lasting prayer habits, and even have an entire month of written prayers!

What people are saying

Prayer Pact is a great resource for kids and families to grow together. For many prayer seems too mystical to understand but this 30 day journey will help parents and kids understand and grow in how to understand and develop a habit of prayer.

Tom Bump, Family Pastor

Being a mother of 5 and understand the responsibility I have to teach, train and live a Godly example I am taking this Prayer PACT Challenge myself! This book helps encourage myself and my children to know God in a personal way through prayer. The acronym is a great idea making it easy to remember. This is a solid foundation to learn to pray that they can build upon their entire lives.

Holly H, mother

" An ordered resource aimed at children with a strong capacity to read and write, that gives structure and once completed has established a pattern for lifelong prayer and bible reading"

Wendy L, Kid's ministry Leader

As powerful as Prayer Pact is on it’s own, the cover can now be updated to your ministry logo and therefore becomes a great tool you can use within your ministry. You are not supplying a random prayer book, you are supplying a custom ministry tool to your kids and families. It becomes an extension of your ministry, which makes it even more relevant.  Send me a message if you think you could use a customized Prayer Pact with your kids, or check out here for more info.
