Fruit of the Spirit: Goodness

Galatians 5:22-23

This week’s Focus comes from II Kings 22-23. Take some time to read the passage together.

King Josiah became king when he was only 8 yeas old.  Can you imagine how hard that would be?

Once the Book of the Law was found, King Josiah realized how wrong everyone had been living.  He cleaned out the entire kingdom of all idols and anything related to false gods.

Got Fruit goodness

God was pleased with King Josiah because he brought goodness back to the kingdom.

Questions:

  • What are some things you would do if you were king?
  • What is an idol?
  • What are some ways you can show goodness?
  • How did king Josiah show goodness?
