Fruit of the Spirit: LOVE

Galatians 5:22-23

This week’s Focus comes from Luke 10:25-37,the parable of the Good Samaritan. If you have time this week, review the story together.

Read Mark 12:28-31 and 1 Cor 13:4-8 together, then answer the questions.

It is usually easy to follow the first commandment Jesus mentions: Love the Lord your God. Sometimes it is not as easy to follow the second though: Love your neighbor as yourself. There are also some qualities of love that are easy to show, but others are much harder.Fruit of the Spirit LOVE

Questions:

  • Who is our neighbor?
  • How would you define love?
  • What qualities of love are hard for you to show?
  • What are some ways to show love to our neighbors?
