FamilyTalk: a guide to family devotions

FamilyTalk started as a project to help our families with their devotion time.  With the support and prayers of many it has grown into a published book.  The devotion guides have been used in countless churches across the country to promote spiritual growth and quality time within the family.  I believe you will be blessed and challenged with this book.

Your child’s relationship with God must  extend beyond Sunday morning. Parents have to take a leading role in the discipleship of their kids. Thus was born our FamilyTalk devotion guide series. We hope that it will be an effective tool to help parents disciple their children.

There are three sets of family devotion guides in this book.familytalk family devotions

1. Steps we take as we grow in God

2. A series of foundational truths that are essential to our walk with God.

3. An exploration of several events in the life of King David

As a mom and a children’s ministry volunteer, I am always looking for resources to utilize with my own family and pass on to the families I serve. Family devotions are one of my top searches. They are a wonderful way for families to connect and learn more about God together. FamilyTalk is a found treasure.–Wendy Douglas
We were able to pass out Ron’s devotionals at our church this past year for our series “Family Ties.” This is a great resource for parents who would like to take a step to lead their children spiritually but don’t know how.–Pastor Jeremy Gyorke
Short, Simple, Practical, and Doable and Biblical – just what today’s families need!–Karl Bastian
A beautifully written devotional guide for families! I would recommend it to any parent who desires to guide his/her child towards a deeper love and understanding of God and His Word.–Sharon Jones
This is a great resource for parents and their children to talk about God. I would recommend that all parents get a copy and that churches buy them in bulk to pass out to the parents of the children in their ministries.–Wayne Stocks
